BETTER TOGETHER

We want to build a movement that is focused on getting Vancouver back to basics and back to working for you.

ABOUT

Ken’s Story.

Ken Sim is a son of Vancouver, raised by immigrant parents on the South Side, a graduate of Churchill Secondary, UBC, and an FCPA.

Ken believes in Vancouver, he’s built a life here with his wife Teena, their four boys and their dog Hank, and he wants to build a city that provides the same avenues of opportunity for everyone.

GET INVOLVED

Volunteer Opportunity

If you want to shape the future of our movement, and become a leader in your community, sign up to volunteer. We’re building a team that needs leaders in all 24 neighbourhoods across Vancouver, and in professional, social, and cultural communities.

GET INVOLVED

Donate

To build our team, we need more than time, we need to be able to get our message out. A donation today will help fund mailers, materials, social media engagement, and support our core campaign team in our mission to get Vancouver back on track.

Fuelling the Movement in Vancouver with Ken Sim

Vancouver is the only municipality in Canada with an elected park board.

Does it even matter who wins if the Greens, OneCity, and COPE end up with a majority of seats on council?

@Kensimcity

It’s #GivingTuesday and the fifth storm in three weeks is hitting us.

Seems like a good time to share this thread from just 12 days ago.

Please give generously to those responding and working on the recovery.

We’re all in this together.

Our friends, family & neighbours are hurting & Canada has suffered a major blow in the past 5 days.

It's time for the rest of us not immediately impacted to roll up our sleeves, open our wallets, and help out.

Thread of great charities below. 🧵👇1/12

Thank you to all the Canadian Forces personnel, First Responders, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to protect people, property, and animals in Sumas.

3 days and about 50,000 sand bags later. My @3CdnDiv3DivCA soldiers did an incredible job reinforcing the #BCFloods defences in #PrincetonBC. An amazing job that any leader would be proud of.

As the sun begins to set and the first candle of the Menorah is lit, I want to wish everyone in the Jewish community a very Happy Hanukkah / Hanukkah Sameach!

Great to hit the doors with a fantastic crew of volunteers, including the first time knocking with threeUBC Poli Sci Students.

If those young women are representative of their generation , the future is in good hands!

Another great day on the doors in #Adanac. ⛈ ☔️ 😊

Two weeks ago we had 4 Volunteers, this week we have 12!

Happy to be chatting with folks on the East Side about building a more affordable, livable, and safer city for everyone.
